The ovens were sold under the GE, GE Monogram and Kenmore brands between October 2002 and December 2004. Louisville-based GE Consumer & Industrial reportexd 28 instances in which the wall oven causedf what the companycalled “minor property damage” to adjacenr kitchen cabinets. No injuries have been GE said that extreme heat can escape from the unitzs duringthe self-clean cycle if the wall oven door is removedf and incorrectly reattached by the installer or the consumer.
