McCain jabs Obama on taxes as AFL-CIO focuses on Social Security - Phoenix Business Journal:

The McCain camp says that if electe the Democrat will increase taxes on the upper middle clasz andsmall businesses. Obama has said he supports rollingv backing some 2001 and 2003 tax cuts for higherf income individualsand businesses, but promisesx middle class tax relief and some exemptions for seniors. He also backes business tax breaks forstartup companies. McCaim wants to double child tax creditsto $7,00p per dependent, trim corporatw income taxes from 35 percent to 25 percentt and keep the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts in The AFL-CIO is sending mailers to voters in battleground states such as Ohio and Pennsylvaniq saying McCain' stance on Social Securityy could hurt the system.
The Arizona Republicam has voiced support for allowing some individual private accounts into the federaolpension system, but not a completde privatization. Obama opposes any move toward Socia Securityprivate accounts.
